Ross Lee has been a lawyer for 20 years, following a seven-year insurance career. Ross is known for keeping in touch with clients, cost efficiencies and results.

In civil litigation and mediation, Ross is dedicated to assisting people in small business, building & construction, property, insolvency and estate disputes.  Legal risk management for small business and bodies corporate is a special interest.  Ross is a nationally-accredited mediator which is of great assistance to clients resolving disputes effectively.

Ross has a strong practice in general insurance, life insurance and compensation claims. He is one of few lawyers accredited as an ANZIIF Certified Insurance Professional (CIP).  Prior to law, Ross practised as an underwriter and loss adjuster – giving great insight, now working for the insured.

Ross Lee is a commissioned Notary Public, a requirement for international matters. He is the founding president of the Robina Community Legal Centre and comes from a long line of service.

Peter Matus is Special Counsel with the team of compensation experts at Lee Lawyers. With over 20 years’ experience in the legal industry, Peter is dedicated to guiding clients through an extremely difficult period in their lives, and ensuring their rights are recognised under the law.

Peter began his legal career working as a Barrister before moving to the Solicitor side of the profession in 1994. Drawn to client-focused work, he has practised almost exclusively in plaintiff litigation, inspired to use his legal acumen to assist members of the community whose lives have been put into turmoil.

Peter strives to ensure his clients’ needs are at the forefront for the duration of the claims process. He will take the time to listen to their story, clearly explain the legal process and will go above and will leverage his years of legal skill and insight to ensure the best possible outcome is achieved.

Tracy Lee is the Lee Lawyers practice manager and client relationship officer.

Holding qualifications as a registered tax agent and Justice of the Peace (Qualified), Tracy is highly credentialed and takes great care that clients’ business relationship with the firm is the best possible.  Whilst Lee Lawyers is an expert, specialist firm, it is also a family business built on reputation and relationships.

Speaking of which, Tracy is a third-generation Gold Coaster and has a wealth of local knowledge. She appreciates that we are the client’s partner on the journey and focusses on keeping in touch and value of service.
